Movement for every body.

What is an Animal Chiropractor?

Animal Chiropractors or Veterinary Chiropractors specialise in treating the neurological and musculoskeletal systems of animals by performing adjustments to a spinal complex to alleviate pain, restore balance, and optimise performance. Animal Chiropractic treatment does not replace traditional veterinary medicine; however, it serves as a great complement to provide treatment options for spinal problems as well as bio-mechanical related musculoskeletal disorders.

  • Small animals

The most common small animals to receive chiropractic care are dogs and cats. However, any vertebrate species, can reap the benefits. Whether it is a working dog, a family pet or pre or/and post-operative – chiropractic care can help with injury prevention and recovery, joint stiffness, and the ageing body.

  • Large animals

As a larger athlete, the impact gravity and speed have on the neuro-musculoskeletal system is vast. Add a rider and speed, or twist and turn on a field, and the stress on the body and joints will increase exponentially. Chiropractic care has widely been recognised to help horses, and even farm animals to optimise performance, restore function and alleviate pain.
